Ann-Christin Villegas, BobiHealth Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO), is a biotechnologist and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with proven expertise in operations leadership. She brings 10 years of experience optimizing systems and processes, scaling operations, and supporting innovative initiatives that have resulted in measurable cost savings, quality improvements, and productivity gains.
Upon completing a master of science in industrial biotechnology, Ann began her career as a process engineer at Proctor & Gamble/Coty and, for the past five years, she has served in senior operations roles with Azzur Group, a life science company supporting biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and healthcare companies. In 2022, she published Becoming a Parent: A Reality Check on Pregnancy, Birth, and Baby’s First Year and, in 2023, she co-founded BobiHealth.
With three daughters and experience living and working in the US and Germany, Ann brings lived experience balancing motherhood with a complex and challenging career—experience that she leverages to ensure BobiHealth offers the culturally sensitive, data-driven care that pregnant people need to support happy, healthy families.
